Salad with Baby Valeriana Leaves with pligouri, walnuts and cream cheese

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for a large salad / 4 people

  • 1 bag Baby Valerian Leaves "From the Vezyroglou Farm"
  • 2 chopped onions
  • Fresh aromatic herbs
  • 2 carrots, in strips

For the pligouri

  • 150 gr. pligouri
  • 2 tbsp. black currants
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Oregano
  • Salt and pepper

For serving

  • 100 gr. walnuts coarsely chopped
  • 200 gr. cream cheese

    For the sauce

    • 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
    • 6 tbsp. olive oil


      METHOD
      • Wash and dry the Valeriana leaves and herbs.
      • Put them in a bowl, add the onions, herbs, carrots and mix.
      • Cook the pligouri according to the instructions on the package. When it is ready, add the currants, the olive oil, the lemon juice, the oregano, salt, pepper and mix.
      • Transfer the walnuts from a hot pan and cut the cream cheese into cubes.
      • Mix all the ingredients, add the sauce and serve.
