Salad with Baby Valeriana Leaves with pligouri, walnuts and cream cheese

INGREDIENTS
Ingredients for a large salad / 4 people
- 1 bag Baby Valerian Leaves "From the Vezyroglou Farm"
- 2 chopped onions
- Fresh aromatic herbs
- 2 carrots, in strips
For the pligouri
- 150 gr. pligouri
- 2 tbsp. black currants
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Oregano
- Salt and pepper
For serving
- 100 gr. walnuts coarsely chopped
- 200 gr. cream cheese
For the sauce
- 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 6 tbsp. olive oil
METHOD
- Wash and dry the Valeriana leaves and herbs.
- Put them in a bowl, add the onions, herbs, carrots and mix.
- Cook the pligouri according to the instructions on the package. When it is ready, add the currants, the olive oil, the lemon juice, the oregano, salt, pepper and mix.
- Transfer the walnuts from a hot pan and cut the cream cheese into cubes.
- Mix all the ingredients, add the sauce and serve.
