Elliniki salad with apples, pomegranate and gruyere

INGREDIENTS
Ingredients for a large salad / 4 people
- 1 bag Elliniki salad "From the Vezyroglou Farm"
- 2 chopped onions
- Fresh aromatic herbs
- 1 cup pomegranate seeds
- 100 gr. grated gruyere
For the apples
- 1 apple, in thick slices
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and pepper
METHOD
- We prepare the salad. Wash and dry the salad leaves. Put them in a bowl, add the onions, herbs, pomegranate seeds, gruyere and mix.
- We prepare the apples. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Put the apples in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, pepper, stir, transfer to a pan and bake in a preheated oven for about 12 minutes or until the apples are well cooked. When the apples are cooked, leave them aside to come to room temperature.
- Prepare the sauce. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix until you have a nice firm sauce.
- Pour over the salad with the sauce, add the vinegar, stir and serve.
