Green tuna salad with baby valeriana leaves

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients for a large salad / 4 people

  • 1 bag of valeriana "From the Vezyroglou Farm"
  • 1 package of tuna fillet in olive oil
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 cucumbers
  • 20 radishes
  • Dill
  • Mint
  • 2 tbsp. Sesame
  • Salt and pepper

    • 1 lemon, its juice
    • 3 tbsp. from tuna oil


      METHOD
      • We open the tuna can and keep its oil. We will use it in the salad dressing.
      • Wash and dry the valeriana leaves and herbs well. Finely chop the onion. Cut the cucumbers into sticks, like matchsticks. Peel the radishes and cut them into thin slices with a knife. Finely chop the herbs.
      • Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice with the tuna oil (which we have kept). If necessary, we can add a little olive oil.
      • We prepare the salad. In a bowl put some of the sauce, half of the salad ingredients (valeriana, onions, cucumbers, radishes, herbs, sesame), the rest of the sauce and mix.
      • Distribute the salad on the plates, put the tuna fillets and serve.

      Tips & Tricks

      The taste of this salad is the crunchy vegetables. Cut the cucumber and radishes with a knife to keep them crisp. Tuna oil will give a rich flavor to your salad.
